Matt finish Slightly textured
This anti-condensation coating is a water-based acrylic paint designed to prevent condensation by creating a thermal break between the cold wall and the warm indoor air. The formulation includes hollow glass beads that reduce thermal bridging, making it suitable for indoor areas prone to moisture accumulation. It dries to a matt finish and resists the growth of mould thanks to built-in preservatives.
Designed exclusively for interior use. It is ideal for environments with poor ventilation or variable temperatures, including:
- Bathrooms and kitchens
- North-facing rooms and dressing rooms
- Swimming pool perimeters and changing rooms
- Storage containers and built-in wardrobes
- Computer and server rooms
- Piping for cold liquids
It should not be used on exterior surfaces or on substrates with surface temperatures below 5°C or extremely hot surfaces.
Application and Compatibility
This product is ready to use and should not be diluted. Stir thoroughly before application. It can be applied using a brush, roller or spray. Always apply a minimum of two coats for full effectiveness. Avoid surfaces affected by salt efflorescence or mould without first treating them appropriately.
- Hidrocril primer for porous surfaces.
- Plaster for crack and defect repairs.
- Stain blockers and sealing primers.
- Our technical team recommends using N-Virol Suretherm Goodbye Mould Cleaning Spray for mould contaminations; always read the relevant data sheets before use, or contact us if unsure.
- For tackling humidity, grease, smoke, or nicotine stains, we recommend Zinsser B-I-N.
For anti-mould treatment, use a suitable cleaner for surface disinfection.
Surface Preparation
On new, firm and dry surfaces, no extra preparation is needed unless greater adhesion is required. In such cases, apply Hidrocril diluted with water. Painted surfaces must be assessed for defects. Glossy finishes should be sanded down to ensure adhesion. Always remove any dirt, dust, grease, or deteriorated materials before painting.
Do not apply to damp or contaminated substrates. Test compatibility with previous coatings if unsure.
