Juno Aqualac Multi-Surface Trim Paint

High-Performance Water-Based Enamel for Professional Results

Aqualac is a water-based acrylic enamel range developed for demanding interior and exterior applications. Formulated with fast-drying acrylic resins, each finish delivers strong weather resistance alongside a smooth, uniform surface with reliable hardness and levelling. All finishes are suitable for interior use, while only Gloss and Satin variants are designed for exterior exposure.

Suitable Surfaces and Application Areas

Designed for use on properly prepared substrates, including interior wood, plaster, drywall, exterior wood trims and doors, masonry, iron, steel, and galvanised or aluminium surfaces. Aqualac is particularly well suited to doors, trims, and cabinets, where consistent coverage and a refined finish are essential.

Certified Safety and Environmental Performance

  • Fire Retardant on non-combustible substrates: Certified B-s1, d0 according to EN 13501-1:2007+A1:2009
  • A+ Indoor Air Quality rating under ISO 16009-9 standards
  • AgBB certified for low emissions to ISO 16000-6:2006

These approvals confirm suitability for residential, commercial, and healthcare settings, where fire performance and indoor air quality are critical considerations.

Surface Preparation Guidelines

All surfaces must be clean, dry, stable, and free from grease, dust, or loose material. Interior wood should be primed prior to coating. Iron and steel require the use of Metalex anti-rust primer. Aluminium and galvanised surfaces must be thoroughly degreased and prepared using Waterprim or a suitable multi-support primer.

Previously coated surfaces should be lightly abraded to remove surface sheen and promote adhesion. Do not apply to cracked or split timber. Avoid application below 5°C, in direct sunlight, or when rain or strong winds are expected.
